Default EZGO Electric won't go

I have a 1998 EZGO electric that will not move. I have cleaned terminals, checked the wiring connections and used another thread to ensure that the solenoid is working. What would be the next troubleshooting step?

Welcome to BGW

Tell us as much as you can about how it was running and what happen.

Ok was the cart running fine and just stoped??

the solenoid is clicking when you push the pedal??

what year are the batteries??

You need a DVM meter and take some readings of each battery and a reading of the pack volts and let us know what you find out

I just got the cart so I don't know exactly how it stopped running. The solenoid is clicking and the tests I have done on it show that is okay. The batteries are older and they are only producing about 27volts. Is this enough to at least get a little movement in the wheel? Each battery has a charge, just not full strength. I plan on buying new ones as soon as I diagnos problem.

Not enough voltage to run the cart. It's battery time $$$!

You cannot diagnose a cart unless you have a known good pack to start with.

Unfortunately G's right but you can trick the cart into thinking it has a good battery pack in it if you can jack it up on stands and connect the battery charger... Don't run it for more than a few seconds each direction this way but, it will tell you if she's a runner
