Default Rear Deck for a 01 PDS

Hi everyone,
I have a couple of upgrades i would like to do to my cart and i was hoping some of you might be able to help me out with some ideas.
First thing i need is a foot rest for the back seat, i have searched the forums and haven't come up with anything on this topic. I would like to buy one, but if need be, i can fabricate something. I looked on MMT and a couple other vendors but didn't see anything that would work.
I also need to rebuild the front end, it looks like the shocks and bushings are toast, even though this thing hasn't seen much use. Can i just replace the bushings, or do i need to replace the shocks too?
And lastly, how can i tell if I have the HD rear leaf springs? I just assumed i did becase the cart was originally outfitted with the truck bed.

For your rear foot deck on the back, you will probably need to fab one. You can buy just the bushings they will come with the new washer nut and of coarse the rubber part. Look at your rear leaf springs, 2,3 or 4 leafs, 3 and 4 leafs are considered heavy duty springs while two is just standard.

I have seen customer make a rear foot rest out of an old nerf bar (side bar) from a truck. They add a 2" receiver to the cart and weld a 2" square to that tube and you have a step.

I wish I could remember who did this. But look up "receiver step" on Ebay & you will find tons of them.
Could be great to use as a front bumper too.
