What's your opinion on this lift kit?
Hey guy's,
I would like your opinion on the lift kit I have listed below, I think I mentioned before that I run around my campground with this cart so I'm going off road or on rough terrain. This seems like a economical and modest kit. Oh and by the way what is "•Must use large offset wheels" mean? Thanks Rich EZGO TXT (19945 - 2000.5) 3" DROP AXLE LIFT KIT •Lifts both front and rear of your cart •For those who want just a small amount of lift •Bolts with using no cutting or welding •Must choose gas or electric from options •NOTE: 2001 EZGO Steering assembly . Early EZGO'S '01s have steering assembly mounted at base of steering column: later EZGO '01's have steering assembly bolted to front axle •Complete with everything you need to lift your cart (except tires and wheels) •Can use up to - 22"x11"x8" •Must use large offset wheels |

Re: What's your opinion on this lift kit?
The wheel size is a reference to stock wheels/tires not being usable. I have a 4" drop axle (EZGO brand) and still have the stock wheels/tires on it. They're 18x8.5x8. They clear everything. I don't think I could put an 18x9.5x8 on though.
The manufacturer is calling for 8" wheels with an offset as a minimum.(2-5 or 3-4, etc. stock is centered) You might be able to get away without changing the wheels/tires, if nothing rubs. |
