Post Multimeter

I have never used a voltmeter on a cart. So when I do, I set it to 200 VDC, and then put the POSITIVE probe on the POSITIVE terminal and the NEG probe on NEG terminal. Do I have to disconnect any of the battery cables to do this?

If you are measuring the ENTIRE PACK, set the meter to 200vdc. If you are measuring INDIVIDUAL batteries, set the meter to 20vdc.

Okay thanks for the helps guys. I am going out in my garage in a few to take readings. Which batts to place the probes on to read whole pack?

you can read individual batteries with the meter set at 200, you just won't get a reading with so many decimal points, try it out.

First and last? Does that mean the two batts that the charger receptacle is connected to?

Okay. When testing individual batteries, do I have to disconnect any cables then? Also, will I have to set controller to TOW?
