Default 36volts

Can you use 3 12volt batteries instead of 6 6volt batteries on a cart?

Sure, just remember that your run time will be reduced by about 1/2.

You can use 3/12v batteries in series to create a 36v power supply. However this supply will be lacking in amperage capacity and deep cycle ability. The result will be poor run time and shortened battery lifetime. Hope this helps

If it worked good ~ Everybody would be doing it

Some people who make infrequent short trips on flat ground have had okay results ......
