Trojan all the way. Not to change the subject her but since your buying batts one of the best performance upgrades is 48 volts. You will need a 48 volt charger, controller and solenoid to do it but it's well worth it.

| Not Yet Wild | Roady89, If the specs on batteries are the same (different companies) shouldn't the batteries last the same with the same care? My batteies are 5 years old and are Trojans, so I figure I'll be replacing them in the next year or two. Thanks, Phil |

It's hard to say. I doubt manufacturers use the same test's to spec their batteries.

Yes, there are several "accepted" amp hour tests out there. Different Co. use diff tests to achieve the 'same' results. One test they can't doctor is weight. The more lead you get the better the battery....Also

I just checked Advance Autp Parts,,,and they got a 6-volt for just $54.00 a piece. Does anyone on here use these batteries in their cart? That will save me a ton of cash.

Its probably not a deep cycle, and if it is, it might ne be a true golf cart battery... For 54 dollars I doubt it... post the battery manufacturer and model #, so we can see what it really is...
