Default 95 ezgo

hello everyone. kinda new to this, so bare with me. i have a 95 ezgo medalist, and i have lifted it and put a custom painted body on it. i had lights put in the body, but i'm not sure how to wire them. don't want to burn anything up. its a 36 volt electric system. any help would be appreciated.

Each light is going to get a + and a - wire to it .....because an electric cart does not use the body ground as a gas vehicle can....Where is your souce of 12 volt power? Do you have a voltage reducer?

no i dont have a voltage reducer. i thought i might need one, wasn't for sure though.

you can just use 2 of the batteries that are already in your cart to get the 12 volts you need

the batts are 6v each so 2 of them are 12v,they are in a series circuit. start from the positve (this will be the + conection for your lights) on one batt and you will see the batt cable leaving the negative going to the positive on the second batt, the negative on the second battery will be the - connection for you lights.
