Default 2004 PDS Wheel hubs

Can these hubs be "turned" .....I am replacing the brake shoes and thought that having them turned would be a good idea.

Thanks for any responses

I have yet to find a machine shop willing to attempt it.

i scuff them up with a 3m scotch bright pad or 320 grit sand paper.

If they are grooved than i replace them.

finding a shop to turn them was one of my issues as well....looks like I should just get new ones and forget about it.

Thanks for the replies!

Whatever you do, when you install them torque them to 100 lb ft at least, and do not back off to fit the cotter pin.

They are cheap enough = just replace them.

FYI - Import drums are not the same quality as OEM drums - just saying...

They strip out easier too
Be sure to torque the castle nuts back down to 70-140 Ft pounds, never back the nut off to insert the cotter pin.
