Default Rewiring Alltrax controller to stay on with key on?

Anyone know how to wire up the Alltrax AXE controller on a series EZGO so the controller will stay on when the ignition switch is on. This is really starting to bother me. While trying to datalog/monitor/program the controller-pro with my laptop while driving every time I left off the throttle the software shuts down with the controller, and I need to restart. I read somewhere on the PQ forums of someone doing it but theres not much detail. I would really like to program without having to jack up the rear wheels every time.

It would be nice if Alltrax revised the software so you can run controller-pro in full screen mode, trying to view the small window while driving is a PITA.
It would be cool if the monitor screen was a digital style display.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Use a small jumper wire maybe with alligator clips? B+ to small #1 terminal. The controller will be 'on' the moment you make this connection.... remove the jumper when done testing.

Your the best Scotty! Would it be possible to add a small toggle switch between those posts for programming/data logging?

I would do just what Scotty said. If you add a "toggle", there will always be the possibility that someone could turn it on and leave it on. Better safe than sorry...

You could but, how often do you trouble shoot your controller?
I don't leave the controller powered up when the cart is not in use...

Now will that be ok with my 48V conversion? The #1 post on the controller only sees 36.9V when the throttle is pressed. If I jump the M+ and pin #1 on the controller it will see full pack voltage @ 49.4V. Will that still work without damaging the controller? And do I need to disconnect the current pin #1 before adding the jumper?

AND YES BGW ROCKS!
