my friends son was driving my cart yesterday and got it stuck, really stuck. We got it pulled out and cleaned off and now it doesn't do diddly. Is there a fuse or something that may have popped somewhere on the cart ? It's an 01' 36 volt I think. Thanks for the help. BTW, new to the site here and it seems like a cool buggie site

The site admin has mentioned before that water can short out your controller like that (***snaps fingers***)...
In fact, he even went as far as saying you should cover it when you wash it, if its fried, thats bad... So, check for error codes... and maybe someone who knows more about controllers will be able to help... |

okay, where is that located. When you lift the seat theres a box with a run/maintenance switch on it. After he got it stuck and we had cleaned it this box was pretty hot to the touch. Thanks for all the comments/suggestions and keep them coming

Post your serial/model number from the plate inside the passenger storage area. Also, where is your F/R control located?

It's right in the middle of the panel below the seat. And the # on the plate says f198 1093576. Thanks y'all, CHRIS

Chris, you have a '98 TXT DCS cart.
Also, if you ever tow the cart the Run/Tow switch MUST be set to Tow or the controller will be ruined. |
