Getting new batteries
I have a friend that has a friend that works for Interstate batteries and he's getting me 6 brand new, 2011, 8v Interstate GC8-XHD for the awesome price of $569. Interstate Extremes. I should be getting them next Wednesday. These batteries have better numbers than the Trojan 875's I was running.

Re: Getting new batteries
10 more bucks you could have bought trojans t-875's with 18 month warranty atleast where i work pickup cost on them is 579 plus tax but with proper care and not roasting them the will outlast those interstates for sure

Re: Getting new batteries
I heard it once said it's not as much the battery brand, as how you take care of it

Re: Getting new batteries
A set of 875's here will run me $720 plus tax and my cores. I'm getting these for $569 including tax and can keep my old ones. These Interstates also come with a 2 yr warranty. A'lot better deal than what I could of got going with the Trojans.

Re: Getting new batteries
You "hands down" got the right price on the batteries. I don't know what the specks are on your amp hour rating and weight but I'm going to squeeze out all I can at 190 ah at 69lbs with the Trojan 890's ($130 each) and a 3year warranty. Best price I could find locally. I don't seem lucky enough to find them kind of deals.

Re: Getting new batteries
I don't think you can find an 8v with more than 190ah rating.
