Does cold temperatures affect battery voltage, Need Help
Hey Guys, need help here.
Its been about 16 to 25 degrees around here the last few days. I've charged each batteries with a 6 volt 6 amp charger, and I'm getting 6.40-6.60 volts between 6 batteries. But in the morning when I check the batteries after they have been off the charger they range from: 6.04-6.183 on a digital meter. Is this common for the cold weather to lower the votage of the batteries and if so is there a chart or anything stating with temp drop what to expect the battery volt to be at fully charge?? Thanks for any help, Last edited by Thomasbuilt; 02-03-2011 at 05:34 PM.. Reason: number input wrong |
