Default Newbie question

Hello all,
First time post..awesome site! Lots of knowledge!
I have I believe is a 2004 Ezgo TXT. Its all stock except for a lift and mud tires.
I will use this for hunting..to get in and out of my hunting spots. Usually i have a buddy riding with me.
Currently it has a hard time going up hills. These hills are about 30-40 degrees tops.
The cart has original batteries. (T-105's) I have no idea if they are good or not. I would assume they need to be changed.
If I change the batteries, would this be good enough power for this use?
If not what is the absolute minimum I have to upgrade to carry 2 guys uphill?
Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

Is it series or PDS? The F/R switch is on the dash if it is PDS or by your leg if it is series.

The battery date is stamped on stamped on the battery post. I could be like J03 for Oct 2003 or A10 for Jan 2010

8" wheels will give you more "power" than larger wheels/tires but do not look too cool. :)

OK I will check the dates on the battery. The cart has the FR handle down behind the leg. I checked and it has 22 inch tires. It use to have 8" tires but I got stuck in the corn field all the time!
It needs a FR switch, so if I upgrade that, put new batteries in, and upgrade the wires, would she have enough power?

get a heavy duty fr, like the one scotty sells.. others do also. you will appreciate it when you add other stuff later. as you say, at least 4ga. cables-all 13 of them. try that with a good set of batteries and see what you think. if not enough power the next step is a larger controller and hd solenoid.
