Default Check Valve or vent

Does anyone have a ideal where or if a 2000 up pds txt has a check valve or vent for the rear differential. I looked and didn't see one. I took the motor off to replace the input shaft o-ring. there's oil leaking from there and around the axle pin's. There also was a hiss when I first opened the drain. Which sounds like to me that there was pressure build up in the differential. This would explain the oil being forced out the "normally sealed area's"
