Alternatives for rear shocks?
I have the allsport high 5” lift on my ezgo and have a question. The lift kit relocated the rear springs over the axle and adds a lift block between the two. This creates a larger gap and the stock shock is not long enough. To accommodate this, the lift kit added a shock extender that just extends the stud on the end of the shock. This does not look safe or professional!
My question is: Is there another shock (maybe for an ATV) with will fit? The problem I’ve run into is that most shocks will have one end that has a stud and then other end has the horizontal mount. I cannot find any shocks that have the double stud mount. While researching this I found this alternative (picture). It’s made by JKS which is very reputable in the Jeep world. |

Might fit, I will check them on my 94 in the morning to see how they fit the rear.

Check out the Monroe Shock web-site.They have a chart that you can match up shocks by size.I use a 32207 on my Marathon with a 5" lift. They give the different mounting-options and lengths so you can find the best one for your application.Hope this helps.
