I'll let you know in a couple of weeks.....

I primed my top with Rustolem Plastic Primer that's supposed to allow you to paint ANY regular type of paint over it....

I cleaned the top with soap and water and then wiped it down with laquer thinner.

I'm waiting for my body to come back from painting (professional) before doing the top. The Pro refused to paint it. Says nothing sticks to it. I guess he knows but that aint going to stop me from trying......

There is a great plastic coating called Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. I have used it in the past for banshee plastics for a friend of mine and it worked great. Just use a light scotchbrite pad then wipe it down and coat it with bulldog as directed and paint as directed. I would say if anything was gonna work that should do it. Google it.

Features:
One Component: No mixing required – Ready to spray
Makes Paint Stick: Promotes adhesion on most plastic surfaces, including TPO,
polypropylene, and SMC
Reduces Material Cost: Adhesion Promoter and Flex Agent in one
Reduces Painting Time: Dries clear in 5 minutes
No Waste: Unused product can be poured back into the can
Tintable: Tint with basecoat for visible coverage
Convenient Aerosol: Designed for spot repair – no need for a spraygun

I painted my whole golf cart with Bully Dog then applied the paint. It is the way to go, IMHO

BigCountry - Vinyl seats? I would think they would wear out and rub off in not time.

No, it doesn't come in the color I want. The Rustoleum primer for plastic says that you can use any topcoat paint you want not necessarily paints for plastic.

Says so in the instructions on the can.....

Walmart Krylon Fusion, I used a adhesive promoter first and then fusion. Oh yea scuff up lightly with maroon scoth brite pad first.

Not bad for spray cans!
