Default 1995 Ezgo 36 volt wont move

I have a 1995 EZGO 36 volt cart that has quit running. I have charged all the batteries and have replaced the solenoid and will decribe what its doing. With the key on, when I push the acell pedal i do not hear the solenoid click. I can put a jumper wire on the solenoid between the battery side main post and the small post with the red wires and the solenoid will click and i can push the pedal and the golf cart will run like it should. I assumed that it needed a new solenoid but it seems the problem is somewhere else. Thanks for any help you can give .

Thumbs up Re: 1995 Ezgo 36 volt wont move

Pull the floor mat up on drivers side. There are 4 little screws holding a cover on. Take cover off and check micro switch inside. Take the 2 wires off of the micro switch and make a jumper for them and see if it runs as normal. If so get new micro. You can run it this way until you get a micro but it's not good if you forget to turn the key off. it will burn the solenoid up.

Might also want to check your reed switch as well.
