An 82 I think
I'm looking at a cart that I think is an 82. I did a serial number check but it seems a number off. The number they gave me was I5I825. Now it's possible they mistook and I for a 1. I know the last 2 numbers should be year, but I'm guessing it's not a 25. Could it be an 82 1/2. I've tried changing the I for a 1 but I still get nothing. They also gave me a number 780404, but that comes up as a 93 gas.
I noticed in the info link it said the top went from 48 to 54 inches and the supports went from round to square in 80. To me the supports on this cart look round. So anyone have any ideas. |

Re: An 82 I think
Looking at the ID page again, I noticed it said the X leg top was discontinued in 1980. I suppose the top support on this cart could be called x leg. So could this be a 70s cart instead.
Also I can't find a picture of a cart that has only one top support right in the middle of the cart. Guess you wouldn't be putting a windshield on this one. |

My guess would be a 1978.

Re: An 82 I think
I'm waiting to see if the guy can come up with a battery, new or used. 5 of the 6 charge up, but he has a dead one. While this may not be a perfect solution, it will let me know the things works. We just go into it planning on buying new batteries. I should be able to trade him a saddle and hay feeder I no longer use, so we'll probably give it a shot if he can come up with some sort of battery. When I get it home I can go over numbers again and see if I can sort out serial number and model number. Then I might be able to figure out an exact year.

I had a '77 and it looked pretty much like yours. Is the front spring go cross ways from spindle to spindle? Like a club car? Mine did.

Re: An 82 I think
Not sure. All I've seen are the three pictures I've posted. The cart is about 1 1/2 hours away, so we're both trading on the pictures each has sent the other.
I've given him a couple days to see if he can come up with a battery, so I'll call him tonight or tomorrow and see where we stand. Probably pick up the cart next week if we have everything ironed out. |

Yeah, it will give my daughter something to drive and she won't need my cart.

Re: An 82 I think
Thanks. Guess EZGO isn't sure. I typed in 151825 at the EZGO look up site, thinking the I's were actually 1s, and I came up with nothing.
