According to Altrax site 3 red blinks:
3 Red = HPD. Throttle hasn't gone to
zero during this power on cycle.

Check the floor mounted ITS switch under the mat. You need to adjust it so it reads 0 when your off the pedal.

How do you tell if it's on 0. How do you adjust it? Thanks

Pull the floor board up and on driver side there is a box with 4 screws. Take the cover off and there is a micro switch and a plunger inside the box. The plunger is set in place with a set screw. The plunger is threaded onto a rod. Loosen it and when the pedal is at rest have just a good gap between the end of plunger and the ITS.

This fault code will come up if the you don't have enough gap as mentioned.

With the cart securely up on blocks, put a jumper wire from the 36v positive to terminal #1 on the controller. The green light should be solid. If the cart runs like this the ITS adjustment is your problem.

Hmm, go figure...The adjustment procedure I posted never mentions the micro switch....

Maybe it's elsewhere in the manual?

edit- there's a procedure and some drawings starting at section F-20 in the EZ-GO Maintenace manual.......

I remembered the gap being pretty small. 17/64". But didn't want to guess at it last night. Hope this helps you out. LUK what you find.

One other thing to double check is the throttle input setting. Make sure the controller is set for EZGO ITS. The 1 blink green at power up is for 0-5k input. You want 4 blinks green at power up.
