PDS speed senor placement
This is a brand new PQ PDS motor I got this past week. It's going to be raffled off at the CAW Rally in June. I figured I share some things about the PDS motor. The speed senor is a old one I had just for the pictures.
The second picture is the drivers side of the motor where the senor is located. The snap ring was already out of it in this picture. The senor is the grey plug with wires coming out of it. They go up to the controller and plug in. When you upgrade to a bigger amp aftermarket controller or to 48 volts this is done away with. The third picture is the speed senor magnet that is screwed to the motor shaft. If this magnet comes loose you will experience slow movement, may not go at all, may not have any torque. |

Raffle items will only be available to show folks. As to the response I got in the CAW post.
