Default What batteries are needed?

I bought a used golf cart (cheap) that has no batteries. It's an EZ-Go 1987 Electric 4-wheel Marathon. How do I determine what batteries to buy? Please be kind and basic - I'm a girl. Thank you!

You need six 6 volt golf cart batteries. Specifically you need golf cart batteries. No other type will do. THe least expensive place I know to get them is Sam's club or costco

And welcome to BGW, Barrelass

I sure hope this girl has a sense of humor

Thanks! (Yes - I have a sense of humor!) I noticed that some are 8.875 x 6.75in x 8.875in and some are 10.25in x 7.125in x 11.25in. How do you know which size...or how do I measure to determine?

A Trojan T-105 Golf Cart Battery (industry standard) is 10.375" long X 7.125" wide X 10.875" tall.

And, Welcome to BGW!

I bought Interstate U-1800's for $75 a piece, They may not be as good as Trojan 105's but for the price difference I can put up with the 220AH batteries.
