PDS What controller for big tires?
2002 PDS 6" lift 14" wheels and 23" tires. I've heard that the stock controller will fail in time. I'm happy with the performance it has now maybe could use a bit more torque. What controller would be best? And Scotty if your out there how much?

Scotty will hook you up, sounds like a 400a may take care of what you are looking for. How do you use your cart?

Some trails in the woods and a few hills. But it gets where I wanna go and does 23mph on the flat in freedom mode though its usually in mild hill mode.

Sounds like the 400a will more then take care of ya then. If you go that route then you will need the controller, solenoid, diode, resistor, and have your upgraded your cables?

Re: PDS What controller for big tires?
Thanks GUYS If you are going to 2g and although it is overkill for 400 it is recommended by some manufactures for 500 amps. However 500a is not recommended for the stock motor. A programmable controller can be de-tuned for the stock motor now and turned up when you finally go that final step to a custom or off the shelf aftermarket motor.
You will need to make 10 cables total. |
