My first golf cart!!
Here she is ...my first golf cart .
1999 EZGO TXT It has some really nice options and I got a great deal on it due to a few issues it has that I will be addressing with the help of this forum . Here are some pics : Bringing her home I had some free time on my hands the other and was kind of happy about my new purchase so.....I made a video of it! http://youtu.be/czc_0Z2xx2Y The issues it has are it needs the steering box rebuilt and it has some rust around the subframe and battery box . I am pretty handy with fab and a welder so I will fix that up no problem . I'm not really sure about the steering box but any insight you guys can give me would be great! Thanks |

Also....i have been reading about controllers and bigger tires ? What is the deal with this ? Is it something I should be concerned about? How can I tell which controller I have? |

I also have some issue with the front end . The front tires are too wide and rub while turning/braking and the front tires seem too wobble . Not sure if the hubs/wheels are bent but I will be investigating . The steering needs to be rebuilt , once I tear it down I will be looking for some guidance to get the proper parts replaced . The body of my cart says its a 99 . Is there any way to find out if the frame is the same? What model years was the frame interchangeable? |
