Default My new $100.00 ride

My neighbor knows I fix carts. He stopped in said I have a complete cart tore down, I am going to trash it. I said wait I'll give $100.00 for it, thinking he'd shrug me off for the low ball. About an hour later he called said sure...

It's in a thousand pieces but it IS a complete cart with rear seat full roof etc, for $100.00

Congrats, got yourself a DCS cart there I see, might as well upgrade the controller since it is apart, battery tray looks good.

It is a 1995 DCS. The motor looks to be from a PDS, but the commutor is clicking on the brushes. It'll be a fun project.

Any reason why I can't convert this DCS to a 48v cart if I change to an AllTrax controller, a 48v solenoid and a 48v charger?

My 98 started out as a lowly DSC cart I may be wrong but I think you'll have to change the motor also. I changed mine to a DnD speed/torque unit.
