Default I need help!!! 96 ez go DCS

Ok, I have a friend who said he could hook up a toggle switch on my cart... I have been having a problem with members / friends using my cart at our local course.. I wanted it to be a kill switch... Well he killed it alright... :) when he hooked up the switch!!! all He-- broke loose!!! the smoke rolled out and I am now trying to figure out what he Killed... Ha!!! the cart does have 38v to the state of charge meter. and each battery has 6.4 volts on them. when i push the gas ped. the cart shutters and act like it wants to go in reverse even tho. it is in forward. I jacked it up and the wheels went in reverse while the F/W was in the forward position.. does anybody know if he toasted the controller or the ITS??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

BTW the solenoid is clicking when the gas ped is being pushed... Thanks!!!

It sounds like he smoked the speed control but, it would help greatly if you post a pic or tell us which wires he connected with the switch

Does the solenoid click when you try to go?

What I meant was which wire did he try to switch?
