Re: ez go charging problem
welcome to BGW.....start with the batteries 1st how old are they, can you use a voltage meter? if so take voltage readings from each battery you need approx 28 volts for charger to turn on but you said it did come on for a few seconds so that says there might be a problem....you just bought it can you call and see if there was anything done before you got it? a little history may make finding the problem a lot easier..............................

Re: ez go charging problem
2 things can make this happen.
1st is the receptacle could be worn out and the plug is loosing connection= replace the female connectors in the receptacle. 2nd is the charger may need a new circuit board. Let it rest and then try it again if it does it at about the same time interval, especially if it goes on & off, then the circuit board is bad. 3rd. If it won't come on wiggle the plug in the receptacle? ... there is a fuse inside of the charger. |
