Default low voltage on one battery

I just picked up an 86 Marathon 3-wheeler. All batteries were pretty well dry, since it had been sitting for a while. It took me 5 3/4 gallons of distilled water to fill them all. After 15 hours of charging, power was up and cart works fine. Next morning I checked charge on each battery and all were 6.1 to 6.3, except one was 4.7 volts. It was the far right battery on the passenger side, not sure if that makes any difference. So is the one battery bad? If so, is there any way to revive it? Saw something about using hot water and epsom salt...Does this work?

No it don't work

They are all dead time for a new set of batteries, 6.1 --6.3 is only 40/50 % after a 15 hour charge

Ouch...that doesn't sound good. Oh well I guess that is expected. So no way to revive old batteries? Well I paid two hundred for it. So I'll have to see if I want to invest in new batteries. Is there a site to get batteries at a reasonable price?

When a wet cell battery is left dry and with out charge, the plates sulfate and the the electrolyte stratifies. It is the worse case scenario = death of a chemical reaction. As Rib said, no amount of salt or other gadgetry will revive the old battery by much or for long. Call around to the local shops and see if they have any used ones for you? OR just buy new and enjoy the ride

Need to find a shop around you and get batteries, it cost to much to ship them. batteries are from $80 to $120 each

They work better on prevention than restoration. Bottom line here is this:
If any of the battery restoration solutions or devices worked well, we would be hanging from the rafters and singing their praises..
