Default Towing and thermal shutdown

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2002 EZ-Go pds cart. I use it to pull a high weed mower. It pulls great but will only run for about 30 minutes and then it shuts down. If I let is sit for an hour or two, I can run it again for 30 minutes then it shuts down. I put new cables in it, batteries are new and good, new solendoid.

Controller? Lower gear ratio? What would help?

Did you upgrade to 4 gauge cables? 4 gauge cables and a high amp controller.....maybe a low speed torque motor will cure that problem.

The low speed torque motor alone should cure it....even a Higher Ratio gear set.
