1990 Ez-go cart jerking while moving...

My Electric cart will periodically start jerking while moving forward and backwards while moving...it does'nt do it all the time..It has new batteries and cables..and new solenoid..How can I fix this issue..any help is appreciated..

Is this a resistor or controller cart?

Is it jerking like the speed is varying or is it jerking like it is cutting out and back on real quick.... So more like surging or more like bucking?

I drove it during the Sunday nite and no problem...but earlier it did it quite abit but stopped..no speed loss that i could tell..

Sounds like an electrical component cutting out?
First while driving try wiggling the F&R handle and see if you can get the cart to jerk?
If not, it could be a micro switch or the solenoid could be dropping out?
Check the wiring to the Pot micro switch and the pot wires to the controller for any damage?
