Default f/r switch smoked

Hi all, been awhile since i've logged in. I got a new preblem, pretty confident that I need a new switch but figured i would post here for some sympathy or something. My wife said whats that smoke the other day..... well that would be the f/r switch. so before i go and buy a new one I must ask what switch would be best. I think there is a heavy duty switch out that would probably be the one since i have the big tires with the high torque motor and controller, maybe thats why it smokes the old one??? anyhoo I have to go to work now will post back when i get home

Yep, that includes my $69 ultra cool switch cam installed...

Have u upgraded your cable set yet? IF not that would be adding to your problem.

I think i would like to order one next week depending on how much money I make tomorrow. I was wondering if that is why the switch has been smoking. the original switch with the upgraded motor and controller, might be loosing power there too???. carts unlimited, heading in that direction now. I am not sure what gauge cables are on it I will have to check I know they were replaced by the previous owner bout a year ago. I gotta look but I think he may have replaced the cables on the batteries but not anything els
Edit: looks like new battery wires are a heavier gauge than the older looking wires that go from the last battery to the controller, from the controller to the switch, the controller to the motor and the motor to the switch might that be part of the problem too??? seems like they should be a heavier gauge too
