Help with manufacturer code
Got my 1995 EZGO today. It is an electric and it came with no batteries and some of the wiring disconnected. Anything you can tell me special by the manufacturer code of 25L95? I will take pics and at some point, add them here. I am going to do a 6" lift with bigger wheels/tires and maybe do something later to the motor. Going to be used dual purpose as around the area and up in the mountains hunting. Need a line on aftermarket bumpers, roll cage, rear bumper and want to put a winch on it. I see some people saying the have a posi rear axle. Where/how do you get one of those?

Re: Help with manufacturer code
Welcome Bob, click on the link with the site sponsors they will help you out with the parts you need. Scottyb is not too far from you, he is west of you out in CA, but we won't hold that against him If you click on the home link, inside of there you will find electric ezgo and you can find a sticky with wiring diagrams and pdf you can download to help you along. Good luck with your build.

Re: Help with manufacturer code
if you have a plastic body it is a txt. if it is metal it will be a medalist. both are the same excepy for the body.
for manual go to the top of the ez-go gas section and find the "gas tech" section. scroll to the sticky with the gold stars and find the link to bennett. its in there. and as husker said, welcome. |

Re: Help with manufacturer code
az, mine's a medalist with a txt front. the locker comes from stockmans. but you need a 99 or later rear end, or do as i did and swap out the center spider carrier with the later, larger one.

Re: Help with manufacturer code
Thanks. Still waffling about keeping it electric or finding a gas rear end and converting it. Want to use it in the mountains for hunting and don't want to run out of battery in the woods. Don't know how long the batteries last either as I don't have any experience with these.
