Welcome to BGW

sounds like you have a striped brake hub, you need to be able to see the castle nut in the middle of your rear wheel that holds the brake hub on , see if it is spinning when you push the go pedal, BLOCK up the front tires so the cart can't move on you for safety, put the rear wheels up on a jack off the ground, and or jack stands

There is no movement of the castle nut when power applied, where do I go from here?

Since the cart won't move .... Check the passenger side first. Just remove any hub cap & watch the axle nut while somebody eases the throttle on. If the nut spins and not the wheel... shes' stripped... NOTE the axle nut MUST be re-torqued to 100-140 ft pounds when re installed.

Neither one of the axle nuts are rotating but you hear the motor running?

Not sure of the wisdom I may have displayed but I removed the pan at the bottom of the transmission (if that is what it is called) had my son push the pedal real easy, everything seem to be moving as designed but nothing is moving outboard of the gear box

Okay ~ One of the axle shafts may be broken? It is an open differential... if one wheel spins the other does not move.

Gears are moving and axle nuts are not? The spider gear cluster is moving? I think I would start by pulling the passenger side axle.
