48v Club Car motor
Hello, on local craigslist ad , Club Car owner selling his 36v motor that came out of a 48volt 8 battery club car. How is this? I spoke to him regarding the motor and the motor is new as he just bought the Golf Cart from a individual days ago. That person had a lift kit installed and had the 36volt motor installed on the 48volt Golf Cart. Does any of this make sense ?. I am new to the Golf Cart arena and just wanted to know if this is right. Bottom line he is selling the motor because he bought a new hi performance more torque motor.
I was told by the seller of this motor that removing the 36v motor from his 48volt cart and replacing it with a more torque motor dropped his speed some. I am wanting to buy this motor. My car is a 2006 model, 48volt, 4 battery cart. Help. |
