Default wiring problems

I am being told that I have a problem in the following pictures I have an extra cable coming off the inside post of the solenoid, from what I am gathering it is supposed to go to the positive side of the batteries and the one that is currently in that spot is supposed to go away any help would be great. It is an 04 e-z go txt series non dcs, non pds.

I used this Diagram that i got from the manual that i downloaded, I disregarded the cable coming off of A2 on the controller because my controller does not have an A2.

That is correct. Should the extra cable to going to the + battery and then take out the cable with a fuse in it.

you said in post 3 that you wired it to that diagram, well i do not see in that diagram that it tell you to run the pos + cable strait to the controller, so you did not wire it like the diagram right, you need to unhook the pos and the neg wires from the batteries, and go back and recheck ever wire, and make sure they are all LIKE the ones in the diagram, and then recheck them again and I see in another post that scottyb pointed this out to you

How did you come up with wiring the pos strait to the controller ?? and didn't go through the solenoid

ScottyB pointed out that i had my thread in the wrong area also, so i reposted to get it into the right area.

I have looked at that diagram the only cable that i can guess is wrong is the one with the inline fuse, i assume this needs to be removed and the extra cable coming off the solenoid needs to go to the pos side of the battery.

If I understood the diagram obviously I woud not be needing help but thank you for the insight, I have found this site to be very useful ever since starting this project. I guess I will go home and remove all the wiring and start over again.

I don't think you need to remove all the wiring, but sit down and check all of the wires and make sure they are going where they belong, and if your not sure post your question here and we will help, just make sure the wiring is right before you hook the battery pack up to the controller, because if its not, you can burn up the controller and that is 400 to 500 bucks

this is the same wiring , but with scottys notes. might help.

also, you ideally want a 60 amp fuse between the white charge wire and the pos. post, and a 400 amp fuse on the neg. post. that little fuse you have will do little good. do as was said and run the cable directly to the pos. post.
