Ez-go 94 Marathon Battery's?
I finally bought that ezgo marathon for $120 it turned out all right but the batts seem like they need saving is there a way to save the batts to use them say for two years and how long are you usually suppose to charge a cart for.
Thanks for all the help!! |

Re: Ez-go 94 Marathon Battery's?
If wet cell golf cart batteries are left to sit in a state of discharge for a long period of time there is no saving them. The batteries loose 1% of their charge per day, the damage is sufation of the plates for which there is no true reversal.

Re: Ez-go 94 Marathon Battery's?
Picked up a dead cart on Friday. 1.5 yr old batteries. good water levels. 12.4v across the whole 48v pack of 6/8v batts. I force charged for 6 hours with as much as 60v the first day... and again on the second day. One hour later I had 43v and dropping. The pack is dead. Completely sulfated. SG barely came up to anything.
