Default stupid solenoid question

When Jumping the solenoid, I take it you jump the 2 big posts, not the
2 small ones on the front of solenoid. correct.

I guess it depends on what your trying to accomplish. The 2 small terminals are for the activation coil. You can jump the 2 large terminals to see if the solenoid is bad.

still working on same problem roady89. I have jumped coil and get click. If I have cart in forward with pedal pressed down and I jump the other 2 big posts, if I had a bad solenoid would that still make the cart move, telling me my solenoid was bad

If you jump the 2 big terminals and push the pedal it should move. If it moves this will tell you either the solenoid is bad or something in the coil activation circuit is faulty. If it doesn't move with jumping the 2 big terminals you have something else wrong.
