Slow Down
I have a 2004 Ez-Go Electric. When traveling on road with a down grade the cart slows down. Is there a way to stop this ?

Re: Slow Down
Roger, This is the regen system working. The cart is not only slowing down but, recharging the batteries while doing it.

Re: Slow Down Fixed
I learned that replacing the speed chip with a " Freedom Chip " fixes slow speed down hill.
Do this: On the top left of controller under the cover with the Run/Tow switch on it. 4 bolts to remove cover, two on top which are visible, and two on bottom near center where wies come out. Turn switch to tow, remove bolts and unplug jumper chip in top left corner, install the different chip, and then replace cover. The "Freedom chip" with red wires removes most of the "Regen braking" and increases top speed to about 18 mph with little down hill braking unless you do about 20 mph. |
