Battery Charger Problem
My charger is a Power Wise 28115 G04. It recently blew the 50A fuse on the dc side, due to a short inside my cart. I have fixed the short (replaced the wiring) and replaced the fuse. Now when I plug the charger into the cart only - not into the ac, the charger clicks, and the ammeter needle on the charger pegs backwards. I immediately unplug from the cart to prevent any damage. I'm assuming this is bad so I am not plugging in the ac.
I know that I have the wiring correct from the dc receptacle on the cart to the battery bank. What could be causing this? It has to be in the charger right? |
