Default Major performance upgrades to TXT

After I added my new 12" rims, low profile tires and my Hella Kewl racing stripes, it was hard tell how much faster I was going because it added SO MUCH speed

I mean come on, just look at it now. It just has to be faster right?

Now I just need to install the HD rear springs, fender flares, sport windshield, and side view mirror. Then the real upgrades start with controller 4G cables and motor......where will it end

Nope all stock under that seat, FOR NOW

All bark and no bite I guess you could say. Honestly I don't really need to go too much faster. Wanting to add torque for pulling....

Here is my patented answer:

Speed is a little harder to get in a series cart. They are made more for torque than speed. It can be done and they are very durable at it but it takes a bit more doing than a sepex cart for speed. You will need to upgrade the controller, solenoid, Cables, and F&R. Then you will be ready for speed mods like any one or a combination of the things below:
Speed motor (PQ Bandit or better)
Taller gears and/or taller tires
A voltage increase

When I bought this cart it was specificly to pull a little trailer in a kids parade, and at Halloween for a hay ride. I did NOT want to go very fast, and knew from reading here and talking to my dealer that a TXT cart would be better for torque than speed. Now that I have pulled the trailer with no problems, I wonder just how fast I could get this thing to go
I just want to make sure that I dont increase speed and loose torque with any upgrades. I may just want to do durability upgrades.

Speed always costs money, there is a company that sells a two speed motor, one part for torque other for speed. I think Scotty knows of them, it is an option for what you may want to do.
