Safety issues using jackstands?
I have seen many threads where putting your cart on jackstands is of paramount importance for safety! My motor, however, says on a big yellow tag " do not run on jackstands ". I am a bit confused on this! I know someone has the answer to this one! Thanks!!!

Re: Safety issues using jackstands?
No load rpms can easily exceed motor limits and grenade the thing. Jack stands are used for holding the cart safely off of the floor.

Re: Safety issues using jackstands?
So just don't let the motor speed up to much while the cart is on jackstands? That makes sense to me! I had no clue they could overspeed! Thanks, like I said, I'm new to the electrics!
