I'm going to have to vote stretch. I think jakes makes great products but have heard numerous problems about there lift kits, especially the drop spindle kits and tie rod. I'm not hating on them just looking out for my buddy!

Lizard

I am not going to vote on this, but give you my .02. Jakes great company usually goes out its way to support the customer. Stretch, most likely the best LT kit out there, others will say what they want. I wanted a Stretch for my cart, but they are going to discontinue them, once they are gone no more, and there will be no parts to purchase. I got that from them directly. Yes Jake's may have had some issues but they are not going to stop making them, so that is how I decided, BTW that is what is going on my cart. Like I said my .02.

Thanks - which is my dilemna here if I decide to go LT. Strech is supposed to be the best, but discontinued. Jakes is second place, but 1 year warranty and still being made.

Well if the long travel is that good you should not have to buy parts. I'm just kidding. Really I think both are good options.

I was going to post this point exactly
We are running 2 Strech LT for about 2 yrs now and zero problems.
Of course I drive around rocks that are big as my tires and smaller than the cart... Everything else I go over

When I buy something the last thing I take into consideration is buying parts for it. In my eyes you should not have to worry about parts availability to make your decision for you.

Just my 2 pennies.

You have to consider the possibility that things will get bent/broken when making a purchase for a mud buggy (whether car or cart), as any good mud duck will already know...... Hence, I would go with the Jakes for future availability of replacement parts.

the one thing I always keep in mind when buying Jakes LT kits... the designer of the kit (who I have talked to MANY times) will be the first to tell you that they used the cheapest decent shocks they could to keep the cost down. If you replace them with a QUALITY set of Coil Over shocks, the ride and the overall Quality of the kit improves dramatically...... but plan to spend an additional couple hundred dollars for them.....

I suspect you have never owned a strech lt kit, so I will not comment on your opinion.

DO WHAT?????????? You already have to modify the darn thing out of the box to make it ride decent?

That right there tells me, what else did they do to keep the cost down. Just kind of makes you wonder.....
