Default SOC vs Digital Volt Meter

After installing the digital volt meter (http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...today-394.html) this am, here is the lowest I ran it to today. Estimated 8-10 miles with two adults. Started at 38.3 after an overnight charge.

According to recently posted info, the SOC should be 1 bar down.....but it is not. And....this is a Curtis...... I also verified the voltage reading with a DVM.

Posted this because knowledgable persons want to know......lol

37.4 = is a 20% discharge.
Time to recharge if you are done for the day.
This is what made me seek out a good digital meter. On my own carts I was suspecting the bar meters were less than accurate.

Well even if you didn't learn something I did! Curtis or not those things are rarely on target. I will have 2 of the volt meters when my project is done maybe 8 if Scotty will give me his opinion other than put switches and flip from one battery to the next.

You could do it? I have never seen anybody do that before. There is something new coming out on golf cart market like this. It is an individual battery voltage reading transmitted by bluetooth to your phone. I have been talking with the company about acquiring a test system when they are ready. As of now there is no release date set.
So maybe just go with the one meter and then the 6 battery bluetooth system when it becomes available. That's my opinion

I wonder how low the battery pack needs to be before it loses a bar on the curtis??? if you went to 37.3v would it have lost a bar??? 37.0v ???? 2.0v???

As I go about using the cart, I will snap a pic when the bars drop and the battery level has stabilized. According to the charts posted, it should have dropped one bar at the low side of 37.7 and another bar on the low side of 37.4.......

Previously on this cart, when the bar had just reached the little battery pic, the cart could hardly pull me on the level yard to the charger.
