Re: The Taken Apart is Back Together
How hard is something like that? I can turn a wrench no problem but I've never tore a cart down and put it back together. My cart has some rust and I plan on stripping it down to get to the frame so I can clean it up right. Is that to big for someone who has never done it? It doesnt look to bad. Haha, famous last words!!
BTW, excellent job!! |

Re: The Taken Apart is Back Together
Thanks for all the good comments.
As for how hard is was, I just watched how I took everything apart. Cleaned and painted each piece, then put it back together. Not that hard if you keep parts & fasteners from one removed piece together. Hardest part was reusing the rubber trim. It had hardened over time and was really hard reinstalling. |

Re: The Taken Apart is Back Together
The trick is to get a REALLY large pot and boil the rubber.... The down side is that it is hot as hell to work with but the plus side is that it's highly flexible and installs easily.
