D-Style connector magnet
Could someone please tell me what function the magenet serves in the D-style connector? Mine rattles when shaken...should it?

Welcome to BGW!
The magnet in the charger plug engages the Reed switch when inserted into the cart. The Reed switch opens and disables the solenoid circuit, effectively preventing the cart from being operated with the charger attached. |
