Default 2000 EzGo TXT Dead

I have a 2000 EzGo TXT Freedom. It was running fine then all the sudden it went dead. Lights work great but no power at pedal or Battery indicator. I dont know where to start?? Some help would be appreciated. By the way....This site rocks!!

Which drive system do you have? And does the solenoid click when you try to go?

I really don't know much at all, but mine suddenly quit one day and I realized that one of the battery wires had come loose. Hopefully its that simple for you.

mine is a "Series" and No , no clicking. All battery cables are tight. "M" wire to controller was extremely hot

Check to see if M wire is loose at the motor end?

not loose at the motor. I cant get any juice at the key or the charge indicator. Only lights horn and turn signals

You need to check the voltage at the two main terminals of the pack on the pass side. Front is + and back is neg. Make sure your VOM is set to at least a 40vt setting and you should see at least 36 vts. The other stuff is working because they are probably connected to two batteries on the drivers side and that circuit only cares if those two batteries are connected.

everything is connected to the passenger side of the battery terminals...

You had stated that but have you checked for voltages ? you may have a dead cell in one of the batteries killing the circuit.
