Winter Storage
How should the batteries be cared for in the winter. The cart will be left outside, (covered), what should be done with the batteries? Should I bring them home and store them inside? And if so do they require any special maintenence until the springtrime?
Thanks! |

Re: Winter Storage
I live in SE Connecticut, winters can get pretty cold. Right now we parked them under our hard awning of our camper (on the deck) fully charged the batteries, and filled them with distilled water.. Is there anything else we should do?

Re: Winter Storage
Ideal situation would be to drive it for 15 minutes and charge it once a month. If driving isn't practical, at least charge it once a month. Charged batteries do not freeze.
