ez go motor
still getting hot.can it be the solinoid?if so is there a test i can do to check it.if i have to replace the motor who has the best price.do they make a better motor for it

The solenoid is a switch electrically activated. You can remove the resistor and check (with your DVM) to see if you have 36+ at one side before it clicks then both sides (big posts) after it engages. Connect - test lead to battery main - and use your+ lead on the solenoid big posts... . Aftermarket torque motors are available, this may be what you need. |

its all stock marathon.two people on it.no big loads at all.flat streets club house and back less than one mile.
