Default ez go motor

still getting hot.can it be the solinoid?if so is there a test i can do to check it.if i have to replace the motor who has the best price.do they make a better motor for it

Not much real information here? Motor getting hot on what cart with what accessories in what usage with what load?

The solenoid is a switch electrically activated. You can remove the resistor and check (with your DVM) to see if you have 36+ at one side before it clicks then both sides (big posts) after it engages. Connect - test lead to battery main - and use your+ lead on the solenoid big posts... .

Aftermarket torque motors are available, this may be what you need.

its all stock marathon.two people on it.no big loads at all.flat streets club house and back less than one mile.
