No reverse unless both micro switches closed on 1999 Textron DCS
I recently purchased a project cart to match my other EZ GO. Exact same model 1999 EZ GO Textron DCS cart. The previous owner had completely undone all the wiring and cut off all factory connectors. I have the cart wired back together but the only problem I have is the cart will not go in reverse with just the reverse micro switch activated. If I close both switches at the sanme time the cart goes in reverse. Once the reverse switch is opened again, it of course goes forward, but if just the reverse switch is closed with the forward switch open then no movement but the reverse warning buzzer works anytime the reverse micro switch is closed. I have checked the wiring over and over again, am I missing something? Is the controller bad maybe? Looking at the wiring diagram not sure how it gets power when the forward switch is open since one side is power coming from the key switch. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My kids ans I love our carts.
