Default Does this hurt the batteries?

I have an extension cord from my GFCI outlet outside my house to a shed about 60' from the house. I usually charge my cart all night and then unplug it from the house and the cart in the a.m. Sometimes I'm in a hurry and just unplug it from the house (and not the charger from the batteries). Will this hurt anything? Is this something I could do fairly often?
Thanks.

I believe that leaving the charger plugged into the cart, but not the house power will drain the batteries down. How fast, not really sure but I have seen the powerwise charger discharge the pack that way.

There is an activation circuit that uses the battery pack voltage to turn on the charger. If the charger does not have power, I'm sure some current is used from the battery pack while the no power condition exists. How much? I don't think it's a lot. If you leave it like this for several days, then I think you could get into a partial discharge condition. I'm not familiar at all with the newer chargers, so I'm sure someone can give you an exact amount of current draw. I have an ancient E-Z-GO Total Charge that has been altered ( electronic board removed ) and it runs whatever time you place on the dial. The charger does not draw any current from the battery pack, even if unplugged! I had a friend, who is an electronics buff, fix my charger for me. I don't know what he did, but he told me I can leave it hooked to the battery pack indefinitely and it won't draw down the batteries.
