Coupler on 36 volt Motor EZGO Marathon
Hello All ! I'm starting my 2nd 1989 Marathon project this one is electric and learned a lesson today ! I hit the gas petal to release the brake with the key on and and damaged the splines on the coupler of the motor . My question is ( the motor is on the bench ) How do I get the coupler off the motor ? I rather ask then hurt the motor . Once again, thanks for your help ! Tim

Tack a big nut to the end of the coupler and run a bolt through it. It will pull off fairly easy with this method.
